Hi guys
I have a project due in class soon and I have chosen to interface a
A/d converter with my Basic stamp2 to read voltages and display on
an LED. I am kind of confused as to what kind of A/d converter to
buy? and do stores like radioshack carry them? I was told I could
buy one for about $3. I needed help on how to hook it up and stuff,
since I am very new to this field. Please let me know if you can
think of anything.
thanks in advance

one wire sensors, 10 bit, 12 bit the works.
and if you want to get stared, check out the 'poor mans' ADC"
post Message 25943 gets you near to the messages. I didn't find
the origional post. just the note about RC time and POT to get a
crude 'poor mans ADC'
Not a bad idea for a paper. maybe parallax will do that one day.

It's basically my notes on experimenting with ADC's...
