Programming a BS2p While on a Breadboard

Good morning! I have what I hope is an easy question to answer.

I have a BS2p-24 chip that I'd like to program while it is on my
breadboard, rather than having to remove it from the breadboard and
place it on the development board.

My question is, what pins on the BS2p chip do I need to connect to
the DB-9 connector? I'd like to put a DB-9 on the breadboard and
connect it to the necessary pins so to reprogram, all I have to do is
connect it to the cable from my computer.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Nate

    Let me add..

I see in the documentation the necessary connections needed. Are
there any 'tricks of the trade' I should be aware of, or is it as
straight forward as the documentation makes it seem?

    Thanks

Yes that is pretty easy, I did it in my current project:
The decoupling of the DTR/ATN is not absolutely neccessary, but it
is the preferred way to do it for noise resistance considerations.

you may want to visit http://www.emesystems.com/BS2index.htm

    hope this helps

This is easy enough to do. Be sure to connect pins 6 and 7 on the DB9.
