Thinking of buying the SumoBot as a starting point for Mini-Sumo. I
was also looking at the MarkIII Mini-Sumo but I like the fact that
Parallax bot comes with the Basic Stamp 2. Any body have a
experiance with either of these bots.
Thanks

I think the Parallax 'bot platforms are pretty sturdy and well thought
out, don't know anything about the MarkIII so I can't offer any
contrasting info there.

Only gripes:
- The documentation, and the website until recently, made no reference to the
fact that you need to put in jumpers to close the circuits for the servos. The
schematic shows a closed loop it isn't.
- The infrared "eyes" are not very stable and subject to falling out during
competition.
