Help With time Clock

Hi Group,

I would like to develop an application that carries out a function
depending on the time of day.

Can anybody give me some guidance on how to do this?

I am guessing that an external clock device is required, but beyond
that I'm lost.

FANX in advance.

Regards,

Dwain.

Use a real time clock, like the PCF8583.

The output from that is in a BCD format.

    Easy to interface to it.
