hi everybody.we are a project group from turkey and we are trying to
decide on a motor to use in our project with basic stamp 2.we need a
precise control.our robot has wheels and the motor is used for them
must lock them very well.we are thinking about a stepper motor or a
dc motor with a gearbox attached to it.we want our motor to lock the
motion so well that after pulse is cut off robot must stop
immediatelly.cause it would be on the edge of a table(if you are
interested here is the site where you can find about our project
http://design.me.metu.edu.tr/me407/,click on current projects.b is
our project).our requirements that we calculated are

20 rpm
0.33 watts
0.16 Nm

these requirements are for the wheels and are not so strict.what
would you suggest to us?if you are confused about requirements just
advice about the most useful motor type considering the
compatibility of it with basic stamp 2.looking forward for your
advices.
thank you...

    Merhaba,
Projenizde basarilar diliyoruz.Bu gibi kucuk tip projelerde kullanilacak en
iyi motor, kucuk RC servo motordur.(Surekli rotasyon yapilmaya uygun
bicimde modifiye edilmis). Google arama motorundan arastirma yaparak "
hacked servo motor" lari gozden gecirmenizi oneririz.
