Bs2sx not working

Just purchased a bs2sx stamp...hooked it up to carrier board I made
for a bs2(bs2 works on it).hit identify button on the windows version.
identified it as a bs2sx....then it stopped working and wouldn't
identify it.program said no stamp found...is the stamp blown

More than likely not. Keep in mind the BS2SX draws more power than a BS2 and
may suck down a set of weak batteries to the point nothing runs. I would
start with a fresh set of batteries and go from there.
