Hi:
A month or so ago Parallax offered a demo from Selmaware that communicated
Stamp to Excel and I would imagine it is still on their site. But not in the
PC to Stamp direction.
'microGUI' allows PC/Stamp communication in both directions but not with
Excel. It provides a user interface at the PC for the interaction with, or
the monitoring of, a Stamp. PC controls include switches, sliders, bars,
gauges, LEDs etc.. A Beta version is available at:
http://www.rhombus-tek.com/uGUI.htm
An 8 pin co-processor is also available to buffer incoming data from 'any'
PC program. It supplements the Stamp's functionality by creating a buffered
background receive - the Stamp can be doing something totally unrelated as
incoming data is buffered on its behalf.

Both are combined in a demo to allow a Stamp to perform all the functions of
6 Batch Counters, all in parallel, and communicate with the PC at the same
time using microGUI, and bi-directionally at 28,800 baud. True
multi-tasking.

I hope this helps.

It's main purpose is to dump data directly into Excel, though it can
perform interactive control. The macro is wide open if you care to
add fuctionality to it.
