Sharing serial lines on BS2, MAX3110, and PAK-II

Hello,
I am wandering if it is possible to share the serial lines (SIN, SOUT and CLK)
of the PAK-II math coprocessor and the MAX3110 UART - both connected to a BS2,
by simply enabling one or another with a common fourth output line from the
Stamp: if high the PAK-II is enabled, if low it's up to the UART.
The doubt is about the different type of their serial data outputs: in the UART
(SPI/Microwire compliant) it seems to be a current source, going Hi-Z when the
chip is disabled; in the PAK-II it is an open collector, therefore it needs an
external pull-up.
Every advice is appreciated.
Alberto.
