Solution for Mac users...

Hi all,
Due to the recent threads about using the Stamp IDE under Virtual PC on a
Mac, and people's problems with not being able to talk to the Stamp, plus
with my old Pentium 100 Laptop slowly dying, I have come up with a solution
that works on the Mac.
Instead of a Keyspan or Belkin, and not being 100% sure if either will work,
I have made my own USB to RS232 converter using a USBMOD1 from FTDI and a
MAX235.
All up, it cost me about $150NZ, which is a little more than the Keyspan or
Belkin, BUT this module supports all the RS232 lines, and more importantly,
it works with a Mac running VPC and the Stamp IDE software!
Details on how to make your own will be on my Website soon. I will post the
url once I have finished the documentation. But, meanwhile it is 12am
Friday night/Saturday morning here and I am worn out, so will work on the
documentation after a few hours sleep.
