Bistep stepper controller serial report

Hi,
Could anyone help with the correct syntax to get serial info back from a
BiStep A05 stepper motor controller. ie Whats the correct code to use
with for instance B-1?
Just a few lines would be great, I keep getting errors when I try and
tokenise the code.

There are complete programs listing in the SerRoute Documentation PDF.
Just for the sale of clarification the SerRoute facility is apparently
optional and an addition to the BiStep Controllers.
If you don't have a copy, I'd be glad to send it to you, just send me a note
offlist with an appropriate address. This is apparently a very complex device,
and a simple example here might not do it justice and/or lead you astray.
