Hello.
I use the LM358 to drive LED`s but the output could be higher.
Know anybody a alternative for the LM358 with more output?
Thanks for help, Kai

What do you want the LEDs to do? If they are just ON or OFF, a ULN2003 or
ULN2803 gives you 7 or 8 channels in one package.

    How about a 74HC245?

8 buffered lines. I use this chip to monitor the 8 bit data bus on my Stamp
Projects, and it lights up those LEDs very well.

Take a look at my I2C page and the I2C to 8 bit parallel converter to see
    how I use it...

http://www.lennard.net.nz/ click on circuit ideas then I2C.

    cheers,

    Ben, Wellington, New Zealand.

Ideally, for your use Kai, the one 470 ohm resistor should be replaced with
one 330 ohm resistor per LED... Otherwise the LEDs change brightness a
    bit...
