virtual PC for mac and BSII

I'm trying to program the BSII using connectix Virtual PC 5.0 /windows 2000
and the keyspan's PDA adapter on a iBook with OS X. I have read Parallax
documentation about it, but their example uses a power Mac and Virtual PC
3.0. I just can't believe it is impossible to do. I have done it before,10
months ago, with a former virtual PC on a G4 with OS 9, but I do not have
them anymore.

Do I have to get an older version of virtual PC so that I can make believe
the BSII's editor v 1.3 that the serial port is in reality the USB one? Does
anyone can lend/ sell/ rent / give me an older Virtual PC version then...

Thank you very much.
Patricia

<PRE>Does the keyspan unit work for the STAMP? I have tried the newer Belkin
adapters with no luck. So far only the older style Belkin model works!

Is your VPC "Classic", "Carbon" or OS X native?

If it is one of the first two, then try running VPC under OS 9 instead of OS
    X.

Obviously, make sure you have installed the Keyspan USB drivers in your OS 9
    extensions folder.

The VPC can work either under OS 9 or OS X but the keyspan's adapter is
detected as a non modem device only under OS 9. I could download a program
    to the BSII.

Thank you for the hint I'm new to OS X.
