serial out command

I would like to connect a modem to my BS2 to send simple commands like
dial the phone at 2400 baud, I would like to connect the RX line on the
modem through a inverter like a 7404 to provide buffering. Question is,
what number do I give it to set up the baud rate at 2400 inverted, if
that's what I need?
thanks so much for your kind response,

Assuming it is a straight BS2, baudmode values are:
for 2400 Direct which is inverted, 8 bit no parity use 16780.
for 7 bits w/ even parity use 24927.
Different Stamps have different baudmode values, I believe they are all in
the manual.

Thanks for the info Chris, I will try this and see if I can get it to
work. My wife's mother doesn't speak English and sometimes she needs to
contact my wife. I wanted to just have a button on the wall that she
pushes, makes a light light and then my wife's cell phone is rang.
Sounds like a good job for the stamp, so I thought I would try it.
thanks again,
Leroy
