could someone help?

I was wondering if someone could offer me some lines of code, to see
if my LCD display works, and to maybe get an idea of how to get off
doing it on my own!

it's a Optrex PWB2011 4 X 20 Display

any help would be greatly appreciated

If using a BS2, I have a few examples that will get you started or give you
ideas, assuming the Optrex is an HD44780 based display.
