Does anyone know if there is an emulator out there for the
basic stamp 2 modules.

Also has anyone used/found a better stamp editor than the
one parallax has to offer.

Thanks

About 6 months or so ago some guy was developing a BS1 emulator and hinted
at a BS2 emulator. I tried the beta version of the BS1 emulator and found it
useless. Haven't heard of any others.

I do not know of a BS2 emulator, but Al Williams has
developed a version for the BS1, it can be found here:

    http://www.wd5gnr.com/stampfaq.htm

Depending on the exact code you are using, it may
still be useful, and best of all, it is $FREE$, thanks

    Thanks Ross.

Actually, a more direct URL would be:

    http://www.al-williams.com/bs1emu.htm

We have moved servers (as I'm sure most of you know) so some things have
    been rearranged.

What's the market share for BS1'? Does anybody actually buy these
things? I found one in a yard sale that I put on the Board and no one
    responded? Go Figure!! Comments??

I have 2 or 3 around here in robots and several more are on the bench for
testing. I use them all the time for quick and dirty stuff.

It could be that your price was too high, or no one was willing to take a
chance on the chip based on the history.
