Stamp interfaced with Remote Control reciever to control brushless DC motor ?

I'm considering trying to do a software emulation of a brushless
sensorless controller to drive a small brushless sensorless DC motor
(3 wires) using the signal generated from a remote control reciever.
I understand how to read the signal from the reciever but everything
starts to get hazy when understanding how to drive the motor using
this input.
Asking for opinions and advice on whether and or how this is
possible or am I biting off more than I can chew.
