If you are involved with a university who uses BASIC Stamps in robotics this
message is for you.
Parallax is working with a network who is running a series of 1-hour TV
programs with robot competitions. In the competitions, the student teams are
given a pile of mechanical hardware, a BASIC Stamp and a challenge (put out
the fire, climb the stairs, etc.). Within a day or two, the university teams
must build a robot that achieves a particular task.
For the different competitions the network has requested that we connect
university customers/educators who have BASIC Stamp experience in a
mechanical program. If selected, you'd be representing your university on
the program and be on television.
If you are a possible competitor please e-mail me your name, address,
university affiliation and experience with BASIC Stamps and mechanical
designs. I only need a sentence or two. I will forward your information to
the network and they will contact you if they are interested.
