LCD Powertip 1602 - H problem

Hello,
Connecting the Powertip LCD PC 1602-H doesn't work with these programs written
for
the BSP2 .The specs are the same with HD44780 .All i see is one line of 16 ch.
but all dots are black. Backlight is activated(15 & 16).
Can someone help me with this problem.
