Dear Customers,

You might be familiar with the OPTAscope
(http://www.parallaxinc.com/optascope), a USB-based scope with a PC
interface. This product has been very well received by our customers so
Parallax plans on preparing a small tutorial demonstrating the use of the
scope with different circuits. The tutorial would be entitled "Understanding
Signals" and consist of eight different application examples showcasing
SHIFTOUT, RCTIME, filters, FREQOUT, etc. and how to set up the OPTAscope to
view these signals.

The target audience for this tutoiral is a first-time scope user. Where
possible the tutorial would use Stamps in Class example circuits. Download
the example from the OPTAscope page. The project would start right away and
be finished within 30 days.

We'd like to contract with one of you to do this job. Technical writing
skills are a necessity and experience in education a benefit. Parallax will
provide all of the hardware, of course. If you'd like to see our early scope
of work please contact me off-line at kgracey@p....

Thanks,

Ken Gracey, Parallax
