Did you know ?
A 100-bulb string of Xmas lights costs $4.00. That is .04 per bulb, red,
blue, green, yellow.
Six bulbs in series work beautifully of of 12VDC, total current 6ma.
Three bulbs in series work almost as good at 5VDC, total current ~2.5ma.
The Stamp can drive Allegro's 32-bit shift register with three I/O lines.
Think of the fun you could have with 32 3-bulb stringlets and Allegro's
shifter.
Or with 32 6-bulb stringlets with four ULN2803's (.82 each).
Christmas is coming !
