Hello,
I'm new to the list and for that matter to stamps.
I've read some of the archives and have a question or two.
First and formost: Does Parallax or anyone on the list have a Linux
version of the programing software? If not: Is there even a planned
version for Linux?
Thanks for any help!

Linux is writen in soooo many different languages. But most of the GUI
stuff is written in C++. Like most OSes. But I'm not here to prasie
linux or bash Microsoft. I just want to find out how the stamps are
programed. Linux supports many different "BASIC" flavors. So I'm sure
that I could make something work.
Is there someone that could explain or point me to some info about how
the stamp recieves from the pc? I know some how it has to recieve
binary, and I can reproduce that. It is mainly the communication
between the pc and the stamp that I don't understand.
Thanks for any help

called PBASIC. The Stamp Editor converts the PBASIC code to tokens
which are transfered to the Stamp.
No flavor of BASIC will work except the one written by Parallax since
is is very specific to the Stamp. Your best bet would be a good
Windows emululator of Linux and see if you can get the Stamp Editor
going on there.
