Thanks for your reply you sound like you may have the answers or
information I need.
What I have is Allen bradley plc 510 controller contolling A small mock up of
an assy. line with conveyers, sensors, robots[noparse][[/noparse]pick and place] and the end item
is A roland camm-2100 cnc type engraver which makes luggage tags with peoples
name,address,city,state,zipcode.This demo will be used at learning centers and
people will type info in but this demo takes approx 3 minutes to load
,engrave,unload and deliver A tag.I need some way for people to enter info into
word[noparse][[/noparse]cnc uses word code for engraveing] as A file or files while machine is
running and on input from the plc load and process new data to the engraver
controller.I can program in basic but not visual basic and would not know how to
approach this.
If you or know of anyone who might be able to help me I would gladley pay for
your time and knowldge.
