BOE and 2p

Will the BOA take a 2p stamp? The Stamp Manual v2 says the 2sx, 2e and 2i will
work. But it doesn't mention the 2p. As far as I can tell, the 2 and 2p are pin
for pin compatible. Has anybody on this list used the 2p with the BOE?

All of our 24-pin BS2-series Stamps will work in the BOE. You can also use
our new Javelin Stamp in the BOE.

I thought so, but just wanted some assurance. The manual is vague on this
point.
