Video with BS2!

I need a device that can record and store short video clips and then
play them back. A VCR is too slow and I am looking for something
completely electronics. The whole thing should be controllable by
the BS2.

This may be crazy, but any help is appreciated.

You could use a PocketPC to record/store video/audio clips and then control/play
    back via BS2 serial connection.

Does the record/playback device need a camera and mic, or just
    video/audio in and out jacks?
