Hi all,
It has been awhile since I posted to this group because I am targeted on the
SX18 now,
I wrote a 3 channel buffered RX/TX uart and use the stamp debug windows to
monitor
and set settings for 3 serial ports. My RX/TX channels can operate in 4
modes, two of
them involve hardwire handshaking. Things went wrong when I used my RX line
as a CTS
input. It took me almost a day to find out that the debug window was the
cause that
my TX line was continuesly transmitting or was never transmitting.
Transmitting should
only be when RTS is set in the debug window.
I found that changing ANY of the other settings: baud, parity, databits
clears the RTS
although that is not shown on the debug window. I change the baud setting
frequently
during testing and encountered the above error.
Hope this error can be resolved in the next release of the editor.
