Computer RAM&wild idea

Yesterday I got a computer at a garage sale for free and I plan on
using it for spare parts. Does anyone know how to get a BS2SX to
communicate with computer RAM (or an old hard drive)? I would also
like to decode caller ID data with the stamp, but I've read that it
is too slow. Could I somehow store the encoded CID data on the RAM
long enough for the stamp to decode it, or am I way off track? Thanks
for any input. -Seth
