And even IF it won't run, he can always exit windoooze and run it under
DOS...
Besides, the DOS based STAMPxx editors seems to be very forgiving about what
they run on...

I run the STAMP2P version on an old HP PDA, and it also ran in a PC XT
emulator running DR DOS 7.01 on my current StrongARM based PDA. (Just a pity
that it can't handle the timing on the serial port)

Actually, the STAMP2P program is now the preferred text editor for
small(less than 64KB) files on my PDA...

The Windows version of our editor requires at least Win95 to run. I'm
pretty
sure you can run the DOS version (STAMP2.EXE) under Win 3.11 -- but I
haven't
tried that in a long time.
