ECG ICs

Hi all,

I've got some ICs with ECGxxxx part number.
Is there a website where I could find the *datasheet* of those components ?
I've found differents sites with the description of the functions (like
'quad nand gate' or something else...), but I need more than that.

Sorry for this OT question, and thanks for your help !

Phil.

Could you offer a typical entire part number ? "ECG" alone isn't quite
enough to give you a firm answer.

    Greetings,

I agree, knowing the actual numbers would help. NTE
electronics took over ECG some time ago. You could
search their cross-reference data base at
www.nteinc.com but be aware that certain common series
ic's (like 7400 series) do not have data sheets
listed. I have several older ECG catalogs that I couls
look up info if you could post the numbers.

    Hello Phil,

ECG and NTE part numbers are directly compatible. Take a look a
www.nteinc.com and plug in your ECG part number, then you will get the
    equivalent of data sheet information.

    Hi Chuck (and Bruce),

    I've been on www.nteinc.com, but I can't find the information I want.
The IC I have are ECG9332 and ECG9383.
The 9332 must be a "quad inverter and dual 2-input nand gate open
    collector".
The 9383 must be a "BCD to 7-segment decoder/driver open collector".
I've got this information from a cross-ref index found on the net. All I
need now is at least the pinout of those ICs.

    Thank for your answer !

    Phil.

    Greetings again,

You are correct with the names. Pinouts are as
follows. (I hope this isn't confusing!!)

    ECG9332
    1 A5 NAND IN 9 O2 Hex OUT
    2 B5 NAND IN 10 A2 Hex IN
    3 O5 NAND OUT 11 O4 Hex OUT
    4 A3 Hex IN 12 A4 Hex IN
    5 O3 Hex OUT 13 O6 NAND OUT
    6 A1 Hex IN 14 A6 NAND IN
    7 O1 Hex OUT 15 B6 NAND IN
    8 GND 16 Vcc = 15v Nom

    ECG9383
    1 In B 9 Oe
    2 In C 10 Od
    3 LT 11 Oc
    4 B1/RBO 12 Ob
    5 RB1 13 Oa
    6 In D 14 Og
    7 In A 15 Of
    8 GND 16 Vcc = 15v Nom

    Hope this helps!
    Chuck

    Try:

    http://www.yesic.com/~bergesys/clk/ecg.htm

    and see if that helps.
