Stamp and... Formant ?

Hi all,

Many years ago, I was interested in building my own analog synthesizer, on the
basis of the Formant. This analog modular synth was developped by Elektor. At
that moment, I had no time... and no money for this project.
Now, I'm thinking (and dreaming !) about this again.
I'm looking for all information about it (problems, tricks, bad and good
experience...). Maybe someone made a 'Stamped Formant'...
Did one of you ever built this synth ?
Thanks.
Phil.

Although it's not a Stamp based Formant, you may be interested in this
link which indicates what a task you may be facing:

    Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your contribution... I've been surfing on this site this night
(in Belgium), I think it's the most complete and interesting site about the
Formant. As you say, it's beter to know how huge is the amount of work
    needed !

    Best regards,

    Phil.

You can find some details about the Elektor Formant Synthesizer here:
    http://omega.tellus.vallentuna.se/anders/synthar.html . I am not sure how
you could use the Basic Stamp to control it. I guess you could program it to
    be used as a sequencer.
