I need Help

Hello to all
My name is Nick and I am new to programming. I have a Parallax 8051 BS2
microcontroller with a BPK-216 Series LCD. I am looking for sample code to
enable my BS2 to generate text such as "hello" and get the text to either
scroll, flash on and off and clear itself for new text to be generated. My goal
is to put together a program that will allow text to a song to be generated and
displayed on the LCD with sounds of a song for example "Mary had a little lamb"
being played using the FREQOUT commands. Is this a feasable project idea or do I
need to simplify it? If it is doable then all I need is some sample commands and
programs to give me a good start on my project ASAP.
