SV: [basicstamps] Cross platform compilers.(Was Low Voltage Stamp s)

Greetings!

Why port to Palm?
Those machines doesn't have a built-in keyboard, so writing is a cludge...
(you need an optional keyboard that attaches to the serial port to do more
than just edit one or two words, and how do you plan to connect the BS
then?)

There are a few WinCE models with keyboards, but mostly the same problem
there.

Now, before some enraged Palm owner starts flaming, I have 4 Palms at home
(A Professional, III, V and a M100)
All are decent machines for basic work, but...
I've been known to type 10 - 20 KB TEXT notes on a typical day.
That's not possible with grafitti.
(I'll pay for the cortison treatment in your hand for any that can disprove
that, using Grafitti :-)

I'd help build an IDE for EPOC, but I only work in OPL (Organiser
Programming Language), and it's not possible to do the serial port messing
about that's needed there. (Only 'straight' serial work)

Maybe if someone with C++ experience threw together an .OPX...

The Editor part I can quite easily scrounge from the HTML Editor I'm
maintaining, and the parsing isn't any problem. (I just need the token list
and some time :-)

:-)

BTW: What about an OS/2 version?
I know that I can just run the DOS versions in a window, but...
(I could lend you my Watcom C++ compiler since it's only gathering dust :-)

Okay, I did specify *nearly* any OS....

The big targets are Linux, Mac, Palm and WinCE.
