Beats me, but the surplus superbright red LED's I bought at Tanners in
Dallas are nasty -- at about 30 mils they are too bright to look at. I think
they were 5-6,000 mcd. Can't imagine anything brighter.
I did notice that superbrightleds.com appears to be the OEM manufacturer of
some LED micro lights that sell for $12-15 in stores -- their price is $3.
Might have to try a few.
