Search for white LEDs

Working on a project where I need some help with finding a source for
white LEDs. I am specifically looking for some discrete white LEDs
(preferably T1-3/4 5mm) with ultra bright performance
characteristics. So far the brightest 5mm that I found is listed as
typical 8000 mcd but delivery of four weeks from the manufacture is
quoted. I checked with a couple of their distributors and they quoted
the same lead time. I found another one that is listed as typical
7000 mcd and have sent the manufacture an e-mail on availabilty, but
have yet to hear anything.

Does anybody know where I can find white LEDS that come close to
these performance specs that have them in stock?

I had gotten some white LED's from www.digikey.com a while back.
I also had bought some off of www.ebay.com a while back too.

Try www.allelectronics.com, it looks like they have ultra whites for $.2.75 a
piece and ship in 24 hours.
