Using Basic Stamp to tranfer data?

Does anyone one know if a Basic Stamp can transfer data beetween two devices?

I have a digital camera activated by a Basic Stamp and wanted to transfer the
images to my PC without disconnecting the Basic Stamp from the camera's
serial port. Not sure were to start.
