Today Parallax releases the new Optimum Designs USB-based oscilloscope.
OPTAscope is a small (5" x 2.2" x 1.5") metal-enclosed electronic 2-channel
scope. This scope was designed with ease of use to minimize learning curve.

OPTAscope has the following features:

- 1 Ms/s maximum sample rate (500 Hs/s 2 channels)
- 20 Vpp Max input for CH1 and CH2
- 8 bit vertical resolution
- external trigger source (TTL rising edge) 5V TTL max input
- Trigger on rising or falling edge at any voltage
- Variable trigger voltage on DSO channels
- 10%, 50% and 90% horizontal trigger position settings
- Auto or Normal trigger modes
- Weight is 8 ounces

It's portable, easy to setup and inexpensive for a scope at $179! The
package includes:
