Q. Where can I get more circuit designs, for projects for ...

Some users have "scaled" a high DC voltage by using a two-resistor
voltage-divider (1% parts), then reading this with an A2D converter (like an
LTC1298). Pretty easy, really. If you're going to power the Stamp from the
car's electrical system, you'll want a lot of filtering as that system tends
to be electrically noisy.
