Connect BS2 to Keyboard port

Does anybody know how to connect the BS2 to a PC Keyboard port? or
have any useful links for this subject? I can find a lot of things
on the Internet about connecting a Keyboard to the BS2 but not so
much about the BS2 to the PC's keyboard port.
I wish to send predefined sequences of keystrokes to the PC from my
BS2. But I don't need any fancy feedback or anything. Also the
computer will be started with a real keyboard to start off, so that
simplifies the code a lot right?
thanks for any help.

is because I'm not going to be scanning keys, I want to encode Serial data
(serial characters) into scancodes and send them to the keyboard port. Plus I'd
rather build it myself. Those Hagstrom chips are too expensive.

But http://www.al-williams.com/awce/ has a PS2 keyboard interface chip that
will
make your life a whole lot easier for doing this.

Dan-
Search the group's archives for "keyboard simulation". This was
thrashed pretty thoroughly back in March of this year. Msg #20092
has some code that worked for me.

input. The PAK-VI goes the other way -- PS/2 keyboard or mouse to Stamp.
