Power applied in dos6.2 and still........

Okay guys,

I've booted from Dos startup disks and I can get past the hardware
not connected issue.

Now there's an error when I try to run a program....It says.......

Error EEPROM verify failed.

When I hit ALT-I, then space for "go", it comes back with
"checking erasure", then halts when it can't find the pic15xxxx.

Any suggestions?
