RS232 comm with Fluke 45 multimeter

Has anyone used the BS2 to control / communicate with a Fluke 45 multimeter
using RS232 ? I need to take AC volts measurements as well as DC volts. If
so, is there code available ? If this is not a good plan then what is a
better alternative ?
