Does anyone know of a good source for fun project ideas for use with
the BS2?
I just bought a BS2 to teach myself microcontrollers, and I'd like to
see some applications.
thanks,
Mike

have a host of curriculums designed to teach you about
microcontrollers through a series of exercises and experiments. Many
people use the Stamps for controlling robots. the "Robots!"
curriculum is a fantastic way to learn and build something that is
fun!

Also go to the download section of www.parallaxinc.com and download the
StampWorks Manual it has 31
Experiments of all sorts of types. It is a good why to begin learning about
Basic Stamps, I think it has more to
offer then the StampsInClass curriculums do, but do not bypass them either. I
have been doing both and I prefer
the StampWorks approaches more then the SpampsInClass curriculums. There is
also some book that you should
consider they are;
Nut & Volts, Volumes 1 &2, by Scott Edwards, Lon Glazner, and Jon Williams
Microcontroller Projects Using the Basic Stamp, Second Edition, by Al Williams
Programing and Customizing the Basic Stamp Computer, by Scott Edwards
Have Fun !!
