Electroluminescent sheets & BASIC stamp

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience interfacing
electroluminescent (EL) sheets with the Basic stamp.

I'm starting from scratch so any docs would be great. I have 2
120x130mm sheets & a 12v inverter.

Even more specifically, I'm wondering exactly in which ways I can cut
the sheets and still have them work.

Here is one web page which demonstrates the proper method:

Careful inspection of the sheets that you have may prove this to be an
appropriate method. It would be far better to consult with the supplier
to ensure that the busing on the sheets that you have is similar to that
shown on the link above.
