Connection problem ..

When I built controller for my camera I put a 4pin lemo connected to the
Serial pins on the stamp. It all worked very well until recently ...
Now what happens is I get the "Basic stamp detected" and "check powersupply"
then if I restart the computer it will download the first part of the
program. But refuses to do the second.
The program works ok and has changed.
Anyone have any ideas why this is ?
I had a program to transfer data to my mobile phone in there .. but I took
it out and it still does the same thing ..
