Hi there,
I was just trying to find out what actually stamp processors are, what are their
advantages and how they could be used in small control applications. So, please
could anyone send me the materials on that????

Greetings!

Is there anyone else who has any experience using these 1-wire switches
together with a BS2p?

I can read the ROM and matchROM, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to
get it to switch...

:-)
Trygve

Is there a version of this program that will work on a monochrome
LCD? I can't see the cursor on my old laptop . . . thanks.

Start it with the /M switch as below...

STAMP2 /M

This is an apology to Leroy. I have been running on limited sleep
recently, and mistakenly referred to a suggestion that someone else gave as
coming from Leroy.

Just to clarify where it originally came from...near the end of that thread
(after Dale quoted a hunk of the manual's explanation of the function of
POT/RCTIME) he ended with:

I am not sure if the POT instruction is what you are looking for to solve
your problem, but try this first add the
LED between the resistor and the capacitor and see if this solves your
problem.

Have Fun !!
Dale Fleischmann

I don't think he realized the RC network was not intended to DIRECTLY
influence the flashing of the LED (that's where the "no electronic sense"
comment came from), but rather provide a "factor" so that the code could
handle the flash rate.

I'm going to shut up now and maybe catch 2 3/4 winks. Or maybe it was just
my evil and slightly stupid twin that stepped in....yeah....that's the
ticket...

I want to try again since there were no responses before. Hopefully one
of the electronics Gurus out there can give some ideas! Please see my
question below. I welcome any suggestions!
Thanks
Don

Subject: Problems with the L298 Motor Driver Kit ?

I was looking for solutions to drive 2 DC motors that can be
controlled with a basic stamp 2. I bought 2 - L298 Motor Driver Kit
from HWV. It is working fine for 1 or 2 hours(i am controlling little
robots with to wheels) and then the chip burns... My 12vdc motors do
not run for more then 1 Amp...

I tried many things it always end the same way !!

Do anyone had the same problem? any solutions or tips?

Do anyone have another solutions (with explicit diagrams!) to drive
two DC motors with a basic stamp? I need something that can handle
runing for 6 to 8 hours continuously going back and forth...

Artist stuff !!! :)

Merci

Had you thought of deleting all the digest content that you quoted along
with your question? Or do you think that it would have been better to have
    just started a new thread?
