Leroy,
Relax a little and reduce the caffeine... I have to side with Dale on
this one and say that maybe you didn't read the original post carefully
(always a necessity if you intend to provide guidance). Your "led in line
with the resistor" suggestion does not apply to his original question and,
frankly, doesn't really make any electronic sense. Your willingness to
help is admirable, but solutions such as these (and FLAME FLAME FLAME...
responses) just don't give a good impression.

    Dar Tom,

    Now I am really curious. Where did the "led in line with the resistor
    suggestion" come from? I made no such suggestion.. Are we on the same
    planet here? I think you need to reread the original post. You may
    send me a personal copy of this "led in line with the resistor
    suggestion" if you like..

    regards,

    Leroy

    Leroy,

    I don't recall any "led in line with resistor" suggestion either, but this
    is only one tiny skirmish in a larger battle you won't win.

    <Jedi mode>
    Leroy... you really want to let this drop...
    </Jedi mode>

    Now, trust me on this, just say "I really want to let this drop."

    Good!
