Hi,
Does anyone have some good idea's how to control 12 7-segment displays.
I want to work it out with an BSII and than convert it to a PIC (16F84)

The MAX7219 will control 8 LEDs. I am presently using the 7219 to drive 8
LEDs with an F84 driving the 7219, which in turn is driven by my Stamp. You
could probably use another F84 to drive another 7219, but you would probably
get a flicker in the bank of 8 while the bank of 4 was displaying - not sure.
It might stay bright, flicker or go off briefly.
