I'm looking for a nice compact box to hold a scott edwards display
either the bpi-216 or the or ILM-216. I'm also looking for a source
fo a 4 button membrane keypad. The usual suspects (Digikey etc. ) all
seem to be close but no cigar. Any help?

Thanks

Take a look at Future Active electronics catalog or web site,
www.future-active.com . They stock some neat Serpac & PacTec boxes with
some unusual shapes. Used them for circuits with LCD's and TFT displays.
They cut neat as they are not super hard plastic. You can Dremel them or
use an acrylic scribe to tailor them to your needs

For rectangular cutouts in Serpac boxes, I use a set of chisels and a
hammer. Four wacks and you have a clean cutout, in less time than it
takes to find your Dremel tool.
