PIC that doesn''t have pbasic

Perhaps Leroy is asking about PIC chips without a
PBASIC interpreter chip on board. These are usually
programmed in Assembler with commercially available
compilers. While the chips are cheaper than the Basic
Stamp, the compilers come at a cost, but more
importantly it is much easier to create and alter
programs in PBASIC than in Assembler. One generally
must redo the program to move between BASICs and
Assembly.
