Need a low cost depth sounder

I'm looking for a low cost (less than $100) acoustic depth sounder with
either serial, pwm, or analog outputs that could be interfaced to a BS2P.
I don't want the type that comes with a fish finder display or really
any display for that matter due to space restrictions. Besides, the
sounder and the BS2P will be packaed in an opaque housing. No problem
if the transducer and the elecronics are joined by a cable.
Any ideas?

I would suggest using a "smart" transducer from Airmar. These are sounder units
built right into the transducer with nema 0183 data output. This is serial 4800
baud data that is easy to work with in a stamp environment. You put 12v dc into
the transducer and out comes depth data to the stamp.....
