IR badges

Hello BX-24ers,
I'm making a small infrared emitter badge to register badge location in
a space with distributed IR detectors. The badges consist of the BX-24,
an IR LED, and powersource.
Each badge needs a unique IR pulse rate.
Can anyone suggest some simple BX24 code that I could play with to get
unique pulse rates for each badge I build?
Many thanks
Robert

This is sort of related, does anyone have any solutions for using a
basic stamp to control a VCR. eg acting as a IR remote ?
Cheers

resolution ought to be plenty fast enough. When I asked about this
earlier, I was immediately flamed with disbelievers that say it's not
possible. I don't think the stamp would be able to create the 40 khz
carrier, but I believe it could modulate that carrier created with an
external oscillator with the info from this link. Here's a link a found
on the subject that is cryptic, but seems to contain a lot of good
info. If I could just figure out what the bit stream is and use it to
modulate a 40 Khz or so IR carrier, I think it might work. Course, I am
not an engineer by trade I am an electronics Technician / Instructor.
Here's the link, would appreciate any data you come up with:
