Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on interfacing the
TGS822 Toxic Gas Sensor from Images Company with the Basic Stamp. Any
information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Travis

Travis -
It appears that may be a Figaro Gas Sensor, and the data sheet can be
found here: http://www.figarosensor.com/gaslist.html

Travis:
I have used similar sensors with A/D converters for very accurate results. I
suppose you could use RCTime with a cap and the sensor's external load
resistor as well, although I have always preferred conversion. The Figaro's
internal heater consumes a fair amount of power - so they are not the best
choices for battery powered circuits. There are others based on adsorbtion
and resistance that do not rely on internal heaters which are inherently
safer and a bit easier to use. Search a bit more and you may like some of
the other sensor offerings out there even better.
